ELW Elevator #39 – Elevator Out of Service - Update 3

Update 3: Shutdown extended to Tuesday, March 24, 2026, 5:00pm for calibration. May be returned to operation sooner in the day.
Update 2: Shutdown extended to end of day Monday, March 23/26
Update 1: Contractor has run into delays and needs additional time to complete this work and receive third party inspection. Shutdown has been extended to Friday, March 20th 7pm. Update will be sent later today if this changes.
As part of the ELW Elevator #39 modernization project, the contractor requires additional time to correct remaining construction deficiencies.
The elevator will be out of service during March 18-19 while Richmond Elevator completes this work.
Elevator 55/54 in ECS will remain operational and the skywalk to ELW will be open and can be used for access.
