FRAN 325A: Tour de France (in English)
- Offered concurrently with the Tour in July, this class explores the sport, history, politics, and business of one of the world’s most famous and difficult sporting events.
- Play and critically analyze video and board games, and assess the pros and cons of using games to represent history.
HSTR 310C: American History on Film
- Through major Hollywood films, examines critical points in U.S. history, and asking whether film works as history.
- Non-intensive Japanese language for beginners, focusing on listening, speaking, reading and writing.
- Learn argument forms and uses of language in an argumentative context, plus inductive logic, decision making, syllogistic reasoning, and informal fallacies.
SPAN 210: Histories of Violence in Contemporary Mexico (in English)
- A survey of class, race, and gender in modern Mexico, examining the interrelation of femicide, drug wars, and border violence.
