The Canada Impact+ Research Chair is a one-time initiative designed to bring world-leading researchers whose work addresses critical national and global challenges. Impact+ chairholders are expected to drive the translation of discoveries into applications, commercialization, and social and economic benefits for Canada and the world. The program provides the world’s top researchers and their teams with up to $8 million over eight years to support their research programs.
