Lukas completed his BEng. degree in Civil Engineering at the 探花系列 in Canada in 2021. His studies focused on building sciences and structural engineering. His research after graduating integrates standard building science principals, including energy modelling and envelope design, with machine learning and data sciences, contributing to and managing large projects within the Energy in Cities research group under Dr. Ralph Evins. This is built on a background of industry experience working as a structural design EIT.
In his free time Lukas likes to explore the back-country of British Columbia, including hiking, skiing, and rock-climbing, and he has spent multiple years back-packing across Asia, Latin America, and Europe.
