Bachelor of Commerce (BCom)
Highlights
Program structure: building your unique path
You can shape your first 3 terms. Take a mix of required courses and electives to build your business foundations and explore your interests.
In the spring term of year 2, you’ll begin your first full term of business courses as part of a cohort of 50-60 students.
| Year | Fall | Spring | Summer |
|---|---|---|---|
| Year 1 | Required courses & electives | Required courses & electives | Free |
| Year 2 | Required courses & electives | Cohorted term | Work experience |
| Year 3 | Cohorted term | Upper level electives | Work experience |
| Year 4 | International exchange | Specialization | Optional work experience |
Note: This is a typical schedule for BCom students. Your program order may vary. Students completing the Financial Management (Accounting stream) specialization will have different program sequencing. We encourage these students to speak with an adviser upon acceptance into the program, especially if they wish to pursue an international exchange.
Student stories
I really appreciate how much I feel like a person here. I would go to the Zoom recruitment sessions and I'd have my camera on. And after the second one, the people started to recognize me — and I mean, I have pink hair, I'm recognizable. I'd send an email with a question and two hours later, I’d have a response. I felt seen and supported.
