39th Victoria Medieval Conference:
Re-creating the Middle Ages
The Annual Medieval Conference will be held on February 7, 2026.

Adults: $35.00
Current UVic Students: $10.00 (please email us to register)
School age (19 and under): Free (please register )
Ticket price includes GST, fees and two refreshment breaks.

Note: Lansdowne lectures are free and open to the public.

This year will be focused on recreating and hands on experiences, in-person is recommended. Please email events.medi@uvic.ca to confirm your attendance online. We will respond to everyone.
Tours of Medieval Victoria
We are also excited to announce that there will be 2 tours right here in Victoria on the Friday before and the Sunday afterwards. These two tours are free, but require a separate registration as space is limited. Both will be hosted by Dr. Michael Reed.
On Friday, Feb 6th we will have a tour of the Church of Our Lord, Pioneer Square, and Christchurch Cathedral. The tour will start at 11:00, and everyone will be walking from one location to the next.
On Sunday, Feb 8th we will have a tour of the Ross Bay Cemetary. The tour will start at 11:00.
Both tours are weather dependant, and may conculde earlier if weather is poor.
