When the Strategic Enrolment Management (SEM) Plan launched in 2019, no one could have predicted that year two would involve a global pandemic. Implementing tactics focused on the student experience has been challenging alongside a transition to online learning and teaching. But the good thinking behind SEM has helped UVic to manage the impacts of COVID-19 and to support student success during a difficult year.
International supports during a global crisis
As we draw closer to an in-person fall term alongside the continued evolution of travel restrictions and self-isolation requirements, many of us are getting questions from international students. Tricia Best and the International Students Services team are here to help with several new resources and supports in place.
