Background
Dr. Meera Dhebar’s academic work is deeply informed by her practice experience. She has worked as a social worker, therapist and clinical supervisor/director, and been an adjunct professor in social work, counselling psychology and applied psychology. After her 2-year post doctoral award as a CIHR-funded Health Systems Impact Fellow, she joined the faculty at PHSP in 2025 as a professor of teaching, focused on health equity and relational practice in public health.
